200 MAIN STREET [an inventory of time and place]

This 30F mural is a participatory community project that explores the collective meaning of "home." Residents of Los Altos contributed objects, photographs, and personal insights to shape a narrative of local identity and domestic life.

By integrating these contemporary contributions with historical items and archival imagery from local museums, the project culminated in a 30-foot photographic mural. Installed on a public wall at 200 Main Street in Los Altos, California, the composition transforms a city surface into a communal interior, blurring the lines between public space and private history.
